Bourges Cathedral
We arrived too late to see inside this wonderful Gothic cathedral and UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’re planning a visit first thing tomorrow before we drive up to Caen for our ferry to Portsmouth.
Sad to leave Sete this morning and our lovely friends. Exciting drive up north though. We crossed the world’s tallest bridge (Millau) and had a picnic lunch (freezing) next to the beautiful Garabit Viaduct, built by Gustave Eiffel. It’s considered to be the little sister of his famous tower. We’re in an Airbnb in the historic centre of Bourges now. Terrific views but rather noisy.
