Last man standing....

This is the very last of our fruit from this year. I say 'our' fruit but we don't in in fact have any fruit trees ourselves but benefit from the overhanging branches of three of our neighbour's trees. In fact we probably get a better apple crop than they do on their side. The other two trees are a plum tree and a pear tree. Neither of them have had much of a crop this year so this p[ear is probably one of about half a dozen which we saw this year. As it has outlasted the rest of the crop I suspect its is going to be very hard and inedible..
