Party time

Busy day today - poor hubby managed 4 hours sleep after a night shift before he had to be up for Lottie's birthday party! She had a party for her friends at Xplore which is a soft play area at Xscape in Castleford, just a little bit different to the normal Wacky Warehouse etc.

Unfortunately quite a lot of her friends couldn't make it but she (and her friends) all enjoyed it. It was really lovely to see her running about with them all, she might be the smallest but that doesn't stop her bossing everybody about! It was also great to see her with Hollie-Mai who she went through nursery with. They only see each other occasionally now but it's like they have never been apart.

Xplorasaurus made an appearance at the end which they all loved. Unfortunately I think next year they will probably be too old for anything like that but it went down a storm today - they did the conga along with various other dances and all had red cheeks by the end!

We nipped across to the outlet afterwards for a couple of bits we needed then had an unplanned but yummy late lunch at Pizza Express.

The rest of the afternoon was Easter baking and car washing (not me!)

Better go and get some sleep - Lottie was so excited she was up at 6.30 and we are losing an hour tonight!
