Meeting up with 'the girls'

Fletch got an earlier than usual walk this morning as I'd arranged to meet up with the 'girls' for lunch ie ex colleagues from work. We re all retired now but over the years have arranged to meet up for lunch and chat every couple of months. Of course the Pandemic has meant it's been 2 years since we last met up. 

10 years ago it was just the 3 of us but now there are 6 although it's rare we can all manage to meet up at the same time. Ironically Carole, whod arrange this meet up had to cancel as she has to self isolate for 10 days prior to a cataract  op.
 Today, 4 of us met at The Orangery , St Mary's Hospice . It was busy but we had booked a table. The first thing I noticed was how noisy it seemed. So many voices. I've not been in a crowded place for so long, although the tables were well spaced out. 

It was good to catch up on everybody's news. We plan to try to get the 6 of us together next month.
