yard work

I picked, carried and spread 4 yards of mulch today. when my girl came home from school with 2 play dates (or 2 workers, as i see it) I gave them all rakes and taught them how to play the cool game of "spread the mulch"

the girls enjoy it, really they did. after her friends went home the sun was hitting all the new flowers just right. she excitedly said: daddy we can blip on our own house today!

I proudly hand her the camera, and said "get me a good one honey"

she is sleeping right now, so she didn't get to choose which picture.
I hope she agrees with my choice when I show her.
I love the fact that she and I enjoy this together, it's so cool.
