Tulips to be

They've got a long way to go, but hopefully these will mature into beautiful tulips. They've been on the patio for about 5 weeks now. The patio us really warm and sunny, so they should have moved on a lot more. They clearly aren't keen, and I can't blame them.

We've some different birds visiting the garden: coal tits, a pair of magpies, and a pair of jackdaws. There's also a quite badly injured wood pigeon who is only just about able to fly. I'm not sure he's going to make it, but there's nothing useful I can do other than let nature take its course
