Briefly Calm

It has rained, sometimes heavily, on and off all day.  The lake was calm for a little while this morning but by the time we had had coffee and started walking along the lakefront the wind was just stirring.  Met Acyclinggranny walking in the opposite direction so had a chat.  By the time we passed each other on the way back the umbrellas were up.  Obviously no croquet this afternoon!
