Son and Singing

Managed to pay a visit to the club and get some squash training in before I get to play with someone on Sunday afternoon.  It was good to get some exercise in and then work and another chapter of Tess in the can.  Good news on the Apple saga as they have now arranged for a new laptop to be sent before I send the faulty one back.  Took a lot of time but a good result in the end.   Daniel came over for an impromptu dinner a little later on.  I had already planned to make some baguettes and Leyna had found an interesting new form of pasta made with hearts of palm that I used with a bolognese sauce and a spoonful of the ice cream I made for dessert.

During the meal and then for the rest of the evening and we went through a series of favorite songs on the music system and at many times during the evening got to sing along - this photo is one such time as Daniel enjoys singing along to a Queen song.  Lot of fun and good memories as often evinced by music which has a unique quality of arousing feelings and memories in that way.
