I'm Falling for You

Spent the day driving through the Pisgah National Forest and then along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Pisgah National Forest is in the Appalachian Mountains of western North Carolina. The photo above is of the Looking Glass Waterfall, one of a good number of beautiful falls in the Pisgah. C and I have driven the Blue Ridge Parkway many times over the years, but still find it totally necessary to drive a ways on it any chance that we get. And of course, we just had to stop at each one of the many, many overlooks. So after a full day we are resting in a hotel just outside of Asheville. Tomorrow we'll join a guide as we hunt for elk. Not with guns, of course, but to get some good photos of the large animals. I hope that the males are still in their rutting season. If they are then there's a very good chance for some action shots as the males compete to impress the females. I'm looking forward to the show! :)
