Local view

A day of very mixed weather.  I met up with a friend for lunch today in a local cafes she had offered to buy me a meal to celebrate my birthday next week.  Today is the last day before she has to isolate for 10 days prior to a cataract operation.  After a good lunch where the sun was streaming through the windows we took a quick stroll along the beach.  At one point we were watching the sun light up distant hills and then wondering if we were going to get wet.  We didn't though.  It was good to catch up with each other, seeing each other via zoom in large meetings just isn't the same.

It was then back home to spend some time with our grandson.
