Changing view

Once again the sound of chainsaws echoed round our garden. Over the last couple of weeks a major garden clearance has been taking place in one of the properties that backs on to us, and today two sizable conifers were felled, changing our view of this corner of the garden. It's certainly let in a lot more light, which I'm sure will benefit our apple trees.

Otherwise it was another day of baking and home-based activities, including re-potting some plants and finishing planting our bargain bulbs. Next spring should be very colourful, if they're not all eaten by squirrels!
