Churches

Got fed up today so I tought I might slide off and take some pictures on the Broads. Sadly it was raining so it seemed a church tour might fit betterl if I could get inside.

I started at Morningthorpe ( top left ) which was shut and no mention of a keyholder. 

 Next stop was St Catherine at Fritton. Lovely round tower church set off the road up a track.  And open!  The wall painting of George and the Dragon in the extras comes from there.

Then to Shelton St Mary ( bottom right ) a quite amazing place.  The figures and the arms come from there. 

By this time I was losing the light but thust  managed Tharlston St Mary.  A nich chure with an interesting memorial to General Sir Robert Harvey.  A prize for a Penisular war buff like me. He seems to have been at all the major engagments.
