It’s going well

[Actually, it really isn’t]…But the camellia has more buds on it than every before, so we can expect an abundance in the spring. I got hold of 6 Christmas rose plants at Lidl this afternoon, which will replace the now busted flush chrysanthemums. As blipped earlier this week, the winter honeysuckle is showing signs. And, today, I noticed that some bulbs are sprouting a little early. A sharp frost and there will be mass death. Hey, ho. Maybe they weren’t deep enough.

Anyway, in other news I pressed on, although on balance the to do list got longer, not shorter. The decorator finished and we were very pleased with what he did, including replacing the sealant in the shower, which I wasn’t sure was in the agreed spec, but was something that needed doing. And we watched an interesting documentary about Carlos Ghosn.

A busy weekend of sorting out the home front and catching up on work is in prospect.
