Just thought I'd note that today is a palindrome date... 

Just for fun we took the bus down to town to see the new-ish St James Quarter and maybe pick up a few bits and pieces we need.
So we went up escalators, along past shops, into dead-ends with views, down stairs, along corridors, found new entrances, into one or two shops, got the things we needed.

Unfortunately we could not find an alphabetical store directory for the entire mall, merely a list of those on each floor, which was no help in trying to find the Post Office, for example. In fact we concluded that there is no post office but fortunately had only a stamped card to post and found a box nearby.

The collage shows various views including a cherry-picker we watched manœvring outside. the Christmas tree near huts, possibly setting up for Santa., some of the shooting star decorations and an example of the seating in the mall.

And in the centre, the name on the hand sanitiser containers near the entrances, which I thought appropriate for today.
