Typical November

It is a horribly dreich November day, so typical of this time of year, with wind, rain, cold and dark.  It amazes me that the leaves still look so wonderful.

Met Maeve for lunch today and we had a two hour chatting session.  Always lovely to see her, and we never run out of conversation.
