Jam and Cream Hot Cross Bun
I spent the morning sorting out and writing up my Christmas book. I have books going back to 1982, which show exactly what I gave everyone and who received Christmas cards. Sadly, some of those people are no longer with us.
Today's picture is of a hot crossed bun with jam and cream. I had a small container of cream left over, but no scones, so a hot crossed bun had to suffice. It was actually nicer than a gluten free scone which tends to be rather dry.
The temperature at GMT today in my home village was thirteen degrees Celsius; another dull and wet day.
