Mixed bag of weather today. Asked the men who I had spoken to yesterday at the frozen fishing lake whether they had caught anything overnight. A good kebab was their only catch.

The chef didn't turn up in the restaurant I intended to have breakfast in and I had to go somewhere different. Disappointing.

Watched Jack the Giant slayer. Disappointing.

Pie and chips from the shop for tea. Things looking better.
