Beeslack
Walking Django first thing, the weather was at least dry, if dull. The old railway is generally in woodland, but at this point there is a fine open meadow between it and the North Esk. Beyond this, on the steep bank up to Beeslack House there are many specimen trees, offering a range of autumn colours, mixed with the dark green of its pine trees. A small break in the sky never yielded sun for me, so they aren't seen at their best in this photo.
Back home, the rain became steadily heavier as I got on with work.
