The rain it raineth every day

It has been raining for days. This was the view through my windscreen as another deluge hit this morning. There are flood warnings, records being broken, and foolish people driving into flood waters. It’s raining in Alice Springs and parts of the red centre are looking decidedly green.

Perhaps this is a message for the last days of COP26? Today our Government released the modelling that is supposed to support its commitment to get to net zero emissions by 2050. Only, from what we have heard, the modelling actually shows that we won’t…
