Veterans Day 2021

The national cemetery near us (Great Lakes) cancelled the Veteran's Day ceremony last year due to the pandemic. But, this year they were ready to go.

It was a beautiful day for it (sunny and 55F), before turning nasty later in the afternoon.

The guy featured in the thumbnail (holding the flag) is my friend and former mail customer Louie.

Thanks to all of our veterans. It always is a moving ceremony.

I came real close to going real simple, as opposed to the collage. The simple picture of the bugle is in the Extras. The playing of Taps always gets to me.
