Private Property

This used to be part of the walks around the Metheringham and Blankney areas but now, apparently due to vandalism, it is closed to the public. There has not been any vandalism, according to locals - the owner just does not want people on his land! They even try to let the other public footpaths overgrow with nettles for as long as possible so they are impassable. Shame, it looks like a very scenic walk.

As it is Armistice Day today I have included a very Picasa'ed shot of Metheringham's war memorial with tributes made by local schools and nursery.

Today as you can tell I was over at my Dad's. All pretty normal over there and after lunch we watched cricket until I had to leave to catch my train. Once back in Lincoln I called into Boots to pick up some face serum I had ordered. I decided to chase up my thyroid prescription while I was there  too, since I'd ordered it over a week ago and heard nothing. I took my last tablet yesterday. They did have it fortunately, but had not texted me to tell me. The woman in front of me had a similar issue. I think they are only doing prescriptions when people show up now, instead of getting them ready as soon as they get the notification. I'll go in sooner next time.

Then there was just time for a snack and a chai latte in Cafe Nero before work. It was quite busy last night and very busy tonight! I'm off now until Sunday fortunately! Glad to be home now!
