Sneeting

We had a cold morning of walking some trails and scouting for signs of elk but I don’t think it was very encouraging. The sun tried to come out a couple of times but around 3pm it started to sleet and snow and eventually turned into little round balls of “sneet “. So we headed back to our lodging.

The ground was frozen this morning and eventually melted so we had to deal with mud caking our boots. I would rather walk in a foot of snow!

This sneet will probably be gone by morning when it is supposed to be sunny and in the 40s. More scouting before the hunt begins on Saturday.
