The first of the Sunwait candles are lit. :) 
Since I'm bit of a pagan I really like this. I started this last year when I, by chance, stumbled over the Sunwait tradition and it spoke to me. Candles, one at the time, are lit every Thursday, 6 weeks before the Winter solstice when light starts to return in the North. A short poem is read to every candle when lighting them. I think I blipped this last November too. I had 6 blue small candles at home, just waiting to be used for something and how appropriate they are for this. :) I will use them in the years to come, until they are finished, then think of another solution. But, for now, this is perfect. :)
