From Away
One day this young seedling, if it had its way, would become a sapling and then a mighty Live Oak covered with Spanish Moss (which is not really moss at all, more closely related to Pineapple). Unfortunatly it landed (and it must have come some distance, perhaps dropped and forgotten by one of our local squirrels) beneath one of the small palm trees outside our sitting porch.
Not really an emergency blip, more like a quick blip. Yard work and outside chores have taken up most of the day so far and and I don't really have the energy to wander far from home for today's journal entry. I noticed this when I was cleaning out some dead growth from the trees, it struck my fancy, and seemed (at the time) like just what the doctor ordered.
Take care Blipfolk ... and the adventure, or so I am told, continues.
