Long Overdue

My MacBook Pro has a 1TB Hard Drive but, for some time it has been warning me of diminishing storage space.  When I bought it - 1TB storage was enormous and I was very wasteful of it all.  Now I need to do some serious housekeeping and deletions.  I spent all afternoon deleting Apps and Programs.  Now I need to look at my photographs and do much the same.  I am currently doing a backup of them (870 GB) and then the work starts.  Wish me luck - "I may be some time" .....
