Green Fingers??

A gardener I am not and green fingers I definitely do not have....but today, whilst Mr MD was slaving over a hot computer, I thought I should do some preparation for the coming winter.
I brought these plants into the greenhouse and did some pruning.  They do look rather tidier - I hope I have done the right thing.
