Early Start

My friend JB came down from Edinburgh and we had an early morning start - at Seaford - for my 21 mile birthday walk. Over Seaford Head, down to Hope Gap and a low tide walk under the cliffs to Cuckmere Haven then along the river to Alfriston. From Alfriston we turned north, climbing up onto the South Downs before eventually circling back south to Bishopstone, then onto Newhaven and back to Seaford via the deserted village at Tide Mills.
