New benches at Kilmardinny Loch

Three new carved benches have arrived at the Loch! Two were already in place and the third being constructed as we walked past Kilmardinny Loch today close to where we live. 
In 2012, a number of chainsaw creations, by Iain Chalmers from the Black Isle were installed around the Loch but over the years, standing outside in the wet Scottish weather, they have deteriorated considerably and the one in the first extra is now hardly recognisable as a bench.
It is lovely to see the new creations, one in the main, one under construction in the second extra, and the third was being happily used by an elderly couple so I left them to it! 
The person who was installing them told us they were by the same artist but I have no way of confirming that until I get a closer look next time I pass by.
