Pene's plod

A nice morning plod to Ri Cruin cairn. this is all that remains of the 3m high cairn built some 4000 years ago as a burial for a single individual. It's been raided a few times but they found burned bones and other human remains! This cairn tends to get missed out by visitors which is a pity because in early morning light it is a truly special place while in the evening....it's just plain creepy. I dare you to go  in the evening when the sun shines on the half open graves! Booooooooo
