Flying Fairies

Trentham Gardens have started their later evening opening hours - which great for me. S0, the last couple of nights I've headed off round 6pm to catch the last hour.

It's been me the birdies and a few hardy fishermen - marvelous!!

This is one of the fairies that have been created by local artist Robin Wight. There are 10 around the lake and this one's hanging from the wiring that supports the bridge into the gardens from the main entrance.

They are really charming sculptures. I loved the silhouette against the fading light.
