Remembrance Day Poppy

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; 
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. 
At the going down of the sun and in the morning

I found a mass of these poppies on a vacant block not far from our house. They looked so pretty I just had to take one home to play with for Abstract Thursday with the theme of “getting closer”.
