Turning and Shining...!!

In the sunshine this morning....I had been saying my Acer was very slow to turn color this year and now all of a sudden it has..and it looks quite dramatic with the sun shining on it...
A busy day ..cooking and ‘I cracked’ making some sweet pastry...not one of my strong points in the kitchen!
My friend was calling on her way home from across country..so I left the pastry for her to roll out and make the apple & mincemeat tarts ...she did and they were delicious..
We had a great time comparing our knitting projects and catching up on Strictly and the Junior Masterchef...!!!
I really wish we lived closer...:))
