The Phoenix Rises

View from the bedroom

Well the hotel bedroom.  We arrived late and didn't  appreciate the view or the storm.  The rattling single glazed windows should have kept us awake, but for some reason we slept like the felled logs in a deep dark forrest. No pups to wake us, it was bliss.
Unfortunately  we had to arise and go back to collect the cars and help deconstruct the decor of the barn, collect and store away the dirty glasses,(there were a few), the plates,  the table decorations, the wooden plaques engraved by the groom with his late Mother's  handwritten recipes, the church pews and tables, the straw bales and toys and eventually  ourselves, to meet up with the sons for breakfast.  Unfortunately  our cunning plan to meet at the Comrie garden centre came unstuck,  as they were setting  up for a Christmas  fair. We sat outside and had a bacon roll and coffee. It wasn't  warm.
After saying Au revoir and see you at the next wedding in 2 weeks. We headed to pick up the pups  from the two different  boarders and eventually home. We were a bit tired.
