Proud Moment

As I've said before I am a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to a little boy who suffers from Cerebal Palsy and Epilepsy but today I had a very proud moment the class teacher chose him to go into the gold book for trying hard with his work and his excellent sequencing work in our guided reading sessions. Each half term each class teacher in the school has to choose 2 children from the class who have worked hard to go in the gold book and then we have an assembly where the children are called out to collect their certificate obviously at the moment these assemblies are taking place over Teams but each class is on-line. L was presented with his certificate today and he was so proud of himself it brought a tear to my eye this is when I know my job is worth all the blood, sweat and tears. Feeling proud.
