Seasonal colours

All the leaves around here are turning now. Our neighbour’s cherry tree looks tremendous but we know from previous years that the leaves will soon fall all together over a matter of a day or so. Our Japanese maple is gradually thinning out too. The house sparrows use it as a main base while it’s in leaf but they will soon have to find another safe place.
