Blipday (I think)

If I’ve got this right, this is my 3,650th blip. So 10 years. Although I started in April 2010 so there’s clearly a lot of gaps. Most notably in my memory are the 2 when my memory card corrupted as the ferry set off so no picture of us posing on a ferry or of our Galaxy with a top box on the Mulsanne Straight…

Anyway, I think I’ve now managed my first full 365 so that’s progress. About the only progress though. I keep threatening to learn how to use the big camera and I do look admiringly at the stunning blips by so many of my blip friends but actually I’ve realised it’s the journal aspect I love, looking back at how life changes and having a visual record of my life as well as having a nose at what others are up to…

Nice segue there. Blip friends - I think you know who you are… real life friends who have taken it up, virtual friends who have become real life friends, and those in between. Plus my Mum, ever lurking, keeping an eye on things. I can generally guess when I’ve triggered an eye roll or a sigh ;-) Anyway, like a school it’s the people who make the place, not the building and that’s part of what makes it such a lovely corner on the internet.

Enough. Today I worked all day then headed up to Bristol with my friend. She needs a new passport for when we go skiing in the Spring and after hearing horror stories about how many months they are taking, decided to book an appointment at Newport. So we booked to stay with MrRoly’s mum overnight. Oh and I baked my first cake in the new oven - a birthday has to be celebrated with the BeRo milk chocolate cake really, even if my weirdo family have decided only pavlova will do!
