Gone fishin'
Still feeling a bit below par so have been mainly mooching today. Some beautiful sights out into the bay where it was all pewter shades and pockets of light. One boat out at work and one already in, its catch delivered to red van man.
I'm going off piste for a few days for we are off across the water for a long weekend. Cork airport is still not in action so we're going to have to trundle across to Dublin tomorrow and fly to Manchester on Friday morning. The occasion for this is the premier of my brother's latest film - No Ordinary Joe. It's a short film based on the extraordinary life of Joe Carstairs and stars Lindsey Duncan as Joe, plus Lord Todd, a puppet. It's a mixture of live action and stop motion animation. It's been a labour of love to get this film completed as Covid has caused massive problems but I just had a text saying it is actually finished! Should you be anywhere near Altrincham on Saturday night, the premier is at the Garrick Playhouse at 7pm and two of his other films will also be shown.
Right now to get my head round the complications of Ryanair hand luggage - not a lot seems to the answer.
