Homemade Gingerbread cake

Made this today. The aroma of baking the cake are still lingering (Ginger and Cinnamon) several hours later.

There is lots if treacle and butter in the cake which means that it will improve after keeping a couple for days, it should develop a gorgeous stickiness!!
