Interesting day.
Met someone from a small town in Texas.
A gun-carrying, Republican Texan.
She said she would never vote Democrat - probably similar to how many in England will always vote Labour or Conservative.
She had never been to England before and loves it here.
She noted the lack of space, the lack of straight roads - "to get somewhere, we drive in a straight line, turn left, turn right, straight line again" - , the way we can actually walk places, and much more besides.
Like I said, interesting day.
