Hanging On

Our neighbours ornamental cherry tree has two periods during the year when it looks really good - pink blossom time in Spring, and golden leaf time in late Autumn. The leaves are about to fall, but haven’t yet - they’re late this year. These two leaves might have dropped by tomorrow.

As I took this photograph, geese calling made me look up. A skein of pink footed geese flying overhead.
