A tale of two cities…

Well not much of a tale really, more like a visit to two cities today. Up early for a business trip to the Dundee office. I slept really poorly and was awake from 3-6am, not sure what was going on with that!

Anyway, all was not lost as I felt more purposeful today and got stuff done! Plus the sun was shining down from a blue sky and the autumn colours were stunning. Speaking of colours this blip is of a nice piece of street art outside Dundee Contemporary Arts centre - the painting has name Sofia Sita on it so well done to her for a bright and interesting picture.

Second city was Edinburgh - eldest son had been home for a dental appt and begged for a lift back so he could take his bike. Being a kindly soul (despite sleep deprivation!) I obliged. Extra photo is the flat I lived in during my last year at Uni, only 30 blooming years ago!! It’s not far from where he’s renting this year as he does his 2nd year at my Alma mater.

Treated myself to an Edinburgh fish supper on the way home - the taste of chips with ‘salt and sauce’ was irresistible!
