Is there any for me ?

A few years ago our town council, in one of its regular episodes of titivation, did away with lots of flowerbeds in the town centre. They were replaced by individual trees, planted in small squares of resin.
It’s a shame, because the flowerbeds didn’t just look pretty, they were always busy with bees buzzing and birds hopping around finding mini-beasts to feast on.
The birds are still around, making use of the trees, but there are fewer places to find food. I was pleased to see a lady in the town square scattering bird food, so I hope this little soul managed to get some.
