9 miles

Went for a mellow 15k run with my friend who is also training for the marathon now. We partook in some fun at the bar last night so we kept it slow. I was pleased to see alot of the snow on the trails had melted, but leaving alot of slop and mud. With wet feet we carried on and hit the 9 mile mark rather than the 7 I was scheduled to do.

In the morning we went to Canmore did some shopping rather than go to the hill on a busy good Friday. It was a glorious day in the sun and Kristen bought me a coaster with a Golden Retriever on it? One of my favorite dogs.

I pulled my camera out quickly as we left for Canmore and shot this Elk by bumpers steak bar. I thought it was mildly Ironic as there was Elk on the menu, but sad at the same time. The sign says Alberta Beef and Salad bar as the Elk munches the 'salad' from the yard.
