High Tide

Some lovely sunshine greeted me when I looked out of the window this morning so knowing that the tide would be high at the little harbour at Cockwood (pronounced Cock-ood) I grabbed my bag and set off. It only has water for a couple of hours each tide and all though mud has its own charms, I prefer to see the little boats bobbing about cheerily.

Lovely to see some sunshine but there's still a chilly wind drawing the warmth from my bones. Quickly back home for breakfast then, but I'm sure this won't be the last time you'll see this harbour as it's a favourite of mine.
