Weir(d) Weather

EVEN MORE WEIR(D).

Today's weather really has been weird - this morning bright and sunny (though a trifle cool), this afternoon overcast, bloody very cold and a few snow flurries. I mean, what kind of weather is that for Easter?

A few days ago, on the way back home from the docs surgery in the next village, I stopped in a convenient place to grab some sunset shots - alas I only had my recently acquired mobile phone with me, so it was a first attempt at photos on that - sadly not good enough to blip. As I left my car, near a small river which runs under the road, I heard the quite loud sound of rushing water - on inspection I discovered this small weir right in front of the bridge. 26 years and I never knew it was there! Today I needed to drive to that village for some shopping, so took my camera with me so's I could blip the weir.
