Train Station

We have driven by here a few times so it was time to stop in today and have a look. It’s the local station that is not in use anymore although the trains still go by it. The basement is the archives/museum that you can visit by appointment only. The upstairs is a preschool and they were all playing outside on the other side of the building so I could only shoot the one side. We can hear the train horns quite often as they have no gates at the crossings and are they are required by law to sound the horns upon approach. I love listening to them. So much better than the constant hum of highway traffic at the old house.
