Who needs to go to the Med when instead you can go to Portishead?

Taking pity on me, my brother drove us to Portishead to see the sea, the first time in 26 months, even though only a 40 mins drive away. Turned out to be a beautiful sunny day, and we ended up walking 3 1/2 miles, around the marina, and along the coastal path, with views across to South Wales. In extras, my very own boat, and a pictorial version of our walk. Only in Portishead for two hours, but along with the scenic drive, was a much-needed break. Back home I was absolutely shattered (and still am), but this time shattered for a good reason.
