A sewing day

It was our U3A sew and so today in the Church Hall. The meeting last month was decidedly chilly and I felt that I was about to freeze. Today I took a jacket, a body warmer, a beanie and was warmly dressed, but still struggled.

I finished the quilt that I was working on, number 2 of 4, tacked the ice hockey top, ready for another fitting and started cutting the material for quilt 4.

I didn’t need my machine today, so went independently and stayed to the end of the session. I had about half an hour for a coffee before walking with Amber to meet B after his table tennis session.

The subject of my blip seems odd to represent a day like this, but the church hall has a book box with donated books for sale to raise funds. I took a shine to this lonely giraffe, I didn’t buy it as I don’t have any little people to give it too. I left it for someone else.
