Low and Dry

We did our Wetland Bird Survey today. It was a stunning sunrise, and great conditions for it, so it was a lovely walk - but a bit lean on the bird front, 
The water was as low as I've seen it and conditions underfoot were surprisingly dry. It was so still that the reflections in the water were pin-sharp.
