Backyard pots

Our one and only child starts his Higher School Certificate exams tomorrow with his least favourite subject - English.  At least he's getting it out of the way first.  He actually has another English exam on Wednesday - not quite as daunting as the format for tomorrow though.

This is the end of 13 years of schooling for him and is the basic entrance exam for University.  He's handling the whole shebang as well as can be expected.  He's really comfortable about every subject / exam except the two English ones and has great results from school assessments which account for 50% of the final mark.

Life should get a little more relaxed on Wednesday evening.
